Guilin

Welcome to Guilin! Today is departure day. Please take your own transportation to Guilin. We will arrange a special car to pick you up at the airport. Then we went to the hotel to check in and take a short rest.
After that, we went to visit [Elephant Trunk Mountain]. The name of Elephant Trunk Mountain is because the whole mountain is shaped like a giant elephant standing on the river and sipping its nose out and drinking the sweet springs of the Li River. It is a landmark attraction in Guilin and has a history of 360 million years. The central pattern of the city emblem of Guilin City is Xiangshan.
Dinner is specially prepared for you: Guilin's unique food [Guilin Rice Noodles]. Guilin Rice Noodles is a traditional food with a long history and characteristics in Guilin. It is deeply loved by locals and tourists.
After dinner, we can stroll along the plank road, which looks like the "Sun and Moon Twin Towers". The Sun and Moon Twin Towers are famous towers in China and cultural landmarks in Guilin City. These two towers stand in the lake. The sun tower is a bronze building and the moon tower is a glass building. There is an approximately 18-meter-long tunnel at the bottom of the lake connecting the two towers. Among them, the Sunlight Tower is the tallest Tong Pagoda in the world, and the top floor also displays the relic crystals of Sakyamuni Buddha after the cremation. The sari is the amber crystal of the Eastern eminent monks after years of precipitation and self-cultivation. It is a sacred thing that represents cultivation and wisdom in Eastern myths and legends. At night, the two towers are set off by the lights. The sun tower shows golden light and the moon tower shows silver light. The scene reflected in the lake is very beautiful, making it a beautiful night view in Guilin.

Guilin-Xingping

In the morning, we visited [Duxiu Peak Wangcheng Scenic Area], which is the first national 5A-level tourist attraction in Guilin. Duxiu Peak Royal City Scenic Area is located in the center of Guilin City. It centers on Duxiu Peak and covers Jingjiang Fan Wang Fu in the Ming Dynasty. It is the birthplace of Guilin city. The well-known saying "Guilin's mountains and rivers are the best in the world" comes from the stone walls of Duxiu Peak and has been passed down through the ages.
In the afternoon, we visited the Seven Stars Scenic Area, which was named because the seven peaks were arranged like the Big Dipper stars hanging high in the sky. The main attractions here include Huaqiao, Putuo Mountain, Qixing Cave, Camel Mountain, Yueya Mountain, Guihai Stele Forest, China Light Square, etc. Camel Mountain in the scenic area is the famous environmental speech site of former US President Bill Clinton. The climate here is pleasant, and you can visit this feng shui treasure place all year round. The Guihai Stele Forest Museum in the scenic area is one of the most concentrated and typical places in Guilin with cliff stone carvings. Under the explanation and guidance of the professional staff of the museum, we can understand and experience the transfer skills of intangible cultural heritage stone carvings from a distance.
After the tour, we took a bus to Xingping Ancient Town and lived near Xianggong Mountain.

Yangshuo-Xingping

The Li River is one of the largest and most beautiful karst landscape scenic spots in the world. It is also a representative of Guilin's mountains and rivers. It is deeply loved by foreigners. Former U.S. Presidents Nixon and Bill Clinton both praised the scenery of the Li River. Today, we will show you the secret realms of the Li River through different sightseeing methods.
Today, we got up early and set off to climb Xianggong Mountain to watch the sunrise. Climbing Xianggong Mountain, you can overlook the beautiful scenery of the "First Bay of the Li River". The peaks are arranged in an orderly manner, and the clear Li River meanders among the mountains. The river water is like a green silk ribbon, setting off against the surrounding green mountains, forming a beautiful picture of mountains and rivers.
After going down the mountain, we returned to the hotel for breakfast and took a nap. Then head to Dahebei Village, which is the Lijiang Peninsula surrounded by water on three sides and mountains on the other side. By walking leisurely along the Huandao Road, you can see the beautiful Lijiang River and the antique old street in Xingping on the other side.
After the tour, we took the ferry to Xingping Wharf and headed for Xingping Ancient Town. Xingping Ancient Town is built next to the water, where the Li River twists and turns to Yangshuo. U.S. President Clinton once browsed the Li River and visited Xingping Fishing Village, which aroused many Chinese and foreign tourists to visit and follow the president's footsteps.
In the afternoon, we can pick up a favorite pebble in the Lijiang River and draw a favorite pattern on the stone under the guidance of the teacher.
In the evening, we have specially arranged for you to watch a performance of fishermen casting nets and cormorant fishing. This performance restores the scene of the background pattern of RMB 20 in China.

Yangshuo

In the morning, we will take a bamboo raft to tour the Yulong River. The Yulong River is the main tributary of the Li River and flows through Yangshuo's most beautiful karst (limestone) landform. Locals use rafts to shuttle between houses, markets and rice fields on the river every day. Initially, villagers made larger rafts that began to attract tourists, and soon it became a highlight of all travel experiences around Yangshuo. This is a unique travel experience that allows you to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature in the mountains and rivers of Guilin.

In the afternoon, we visited Fuli Ancient Town. An ancient Fufu town with a history of about 600 years. The ancient Fufu town is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces water on one side. The Li River flows slowly here, forming a unique scenery of "three mountains surrounding the ancient town and one water embracing the oasis". The painting fans here are exported overseas because they integrate poetry, calligraphy and painting, and are exquisitely made. As a result, Fufu Ancient Town has won the reputation of "Hometown of Painting Fans in China." We specially arranged the experience activity of making painting fans for everyone. With the guidance and help of the teacher, we made a painting fan that we like.
Then we visited West Street, the oldest and most prosperous street in Yangshuo with a history of 1400 years. Walking here, you will be surrounded by various traditional folk customs and amazing international elements. Various shops, craft shops, calligraphy and painting shops, backpack shops, cafes and China Kung Fu Academy compete to attract people's attention. West Street attracts many foreign tourists. In the evening, we watched the performance of "Impression·Third Sister Liu" together. "Impression·Sister Liu" is a large-scale real-life landscape performance jointly presented by the famous China tour guide Zhang Yimou and many tour guides and artists after five and a half years of polishing. Here, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the four seasons: in spring, there are layers of silver belts, in summer, there are layers of green waves, in autumn, and in winter, dragons playing in the water, each season has its own unique charm. You can also taste local farm food, live in a beautiful B & B, and experience the customs of ethnic minorities. Let's first visit the Ping 'an terraced fields.
